Gatorade Player of the Year for Utah ... first team all-state ... recorded a state record by striking out 19 players in a 1-0 win over American Fork ... lettered four times in football where he was the starting quarterback and three times in baseball ... pitched two scoreless innings in the 4A state all-star game ... hit two home runs and drove in six RBI's in a state playoff game ... hit a home run in the Connie Mack World Series ... in the summer of 2001 made the Chicago White Sox Area Code team in California.
