MVP of BYU summer camp 2004 ... named the relief ace for the Texas Collegiate League All-League Team in the summer of 2006 as well as playing in the TCL Brookshire-McCormick's All-Star Game... serves as a member of the Cougar Council representing all BYU student-athletes.

Was an all-district outfielder for three years at Allen High where he was coached by Paul Pool ... was also all-district in football ... played summer ball for the Texas Stars ... coached by Scott Livingstone.

2006 | Freshman Year

Fanned his first two batters in the 7th, with no outs and runners on second and third to record his second save in a 10-5 victory over New Mexico when he registered a season-high five strikeouts ... hit a home run at Southern Utah ... his first save of the season came against Northern Colorado ... pitched a season-high of 5.1 innings against TCU in Provo ... only start was at Utah Valley State.

2007 | Sophomore Year

Named Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Week for his play vs. Missouri ... also named to the all-tournament team at the Service Academies Classic in Tennessee for his two-hit, seven-strikeout performance in nine innings against Missouri ... struck out 10 vs. Air Force ... had a 3-2 record in starting eight league games ... was BYU's day-three starter.

2008 | Junior Year

Struck out nine with no walks and retired the side in order in five innings of his nine-inning complete game in a 22-0 victory at the Air Force Academy for the team's only shutout of the season ... had a two-hitter in eight-plus innings for no decision in a 4-2 win at Portland ... threw 116 pitches for his first win of the season at Pacific.

2009 | Senior Year

Missed most of the season due to an arm injury ... picked up his save by pitching the final two innings of a 6-5 victory at Cal State Northridge ... team co-captain.
