Before BYU

  • First-Team All-State in 2010 and Second-Team All-State in 2011
  • Team won State 4A title in 2011 and won state title two other years
  • Prepped at Spanish Fork High where he was coached by Jim "Shoe" Nelson
  • Two-time all-region in 2010 and 2011
  • Batted .418, eight doubles, five triples, three home runs and 33 RBI.

2012 | Freshman Year

  •  Picked up a victory in relief vs. Santa Clara.

2013 | Sophomore Year

  • Got a victory in relief in game three against San Francisco
  • Led team with six saves vs. No. 2 LSU in 9-4 upset; at Seattle where he struck out four in two innings; two vs. UC Irvine; vs. Kansas; and vs. Gonzaga
  • Made five pinch-hit appearances at the end of the season
  • As DH, he had the game-winning RBI with a groundout in 8-3 upset at No. 13 Arizona St., 8-3 when he was also the reliever for one inning.
  • Had three RBI in that ASU upset, including two-run double.
