Threw 142 pitches in a complete nine-inning win over Kansas State for a 7-1 victory to earn Mountain West Pitcher of the Week honors ... against KSU he had a strikeout in eight of his nine innings and set the Wildcats down in order in four of those innings as they had a .129 battering average against him ... following that victoyr he lowered his ERA from 8.15 to 5.74.
