Made a relief appearance in the Cougars' final game of the season against SDSU in the MWC semi-final game ... went two-plus innings, striking out an Aztec ... on the season, he made eight appearances and struck out eight hitters in the 9.2 innings pitched.

2004 | Sophomore Year

Named a scholar athlete by the Cougar Club ... made 10 appearances mainly in relief ... made his first collegiate start on May 1 against Utah, a game BYU won 14-9 ... struck out nine in 13 2/3 innings ... longest appearance came in a March 9 game against Chicago State where he pitched three scoreless innings and allowed only one hit in a 21-3 win.
