1982-1983 | Junior Year

Started nearly every game during '82-'83 ... was BYU's number two scorer ... led the Cougars in rebounding during the conference season ... named WAC player-of-the-week vs. New Mexico and UTEP on the road when he combined for 39 points and 20 rebounds ... his 17 rebounds in his opening WAC game against San Diego State in Provo was a season high for BYU and he combined that rebounding tally with 20 points vs. SDSU ... against Wyoming in Provo he was named Chevrolet player-of-the-game with 16 points and 10 rebounds ... was named to Basketball Times first-team all-junior college transfers for '82-'83 ... selected to the second team All-WAC ... averaged 15.1 ppg and 9.1 rebounds in WAC play.
