Rivers averaged 11 points and 5.7 rebounds in his first season after transferring from Utah Valley State College ... He finished the season as BYU's second leading scorer and rebounder ... During the conference season, Rivers averaged 12.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest ... Rivers led the team in scoring six times, including a career high 26 points in a win over Denver ... He was the team's top rebounder on nine occasions, highlighted by a career-high 13 boards against Fresno State ...
