the state two-mile race twice at Centennial HS...two-time all-state in cross country...ran for Weber State as a freshman in 1994.

Cougar Club Scholar Athlete.

1998 | Sophomore Year

finished 43rd at the Mountain West Classic...came in third on the team and 16th overall at the Stanford Invitational with a season-best time of 25:21...finished 32nd at the BYU Autumn Classic...was the 50th finisher at the WAC Championship meet...ran at the NCAA District meet, finishing in 46th place.

1999 | Junior Year

finished 5th on the team and 17th overall with a time of 20:36 at the BYU Triple Crown...ran 25:54 for 8K at the Roy Griak Invitational...ran 26:25 at the Mountain West Conference Championship meet.
