Born 12/20/72 in Salt Lake City...parents are Kim and Cheryl...recruited by Utah, Utah State, Hawai'i and UNLV...served an LDS Church mission in Bogota, Colombia...majoring in sociology and working on a master's degree.

Before BYU

Attended Ricks Junior College in Rexburg, Idaho...named to National Junior College All-America team...broke all Ricks' kick and punt return single-season records with over 1,000 combined yards.

1996 | Redshirt Year

Caught three passes for 42 yards and had two kickoff returns for 41 yards in spring game...redshirted.

1997 | Junior Year

Caught five passes for 64 yards to lead all receivers in the spring game...Academic All-WAC...Cougar Club Scholar-Athlete...scored a 62-yard TD vs. Washington...carried the ball on a reverse and also had a 17-yard punt return at Arizona State...had four catches for 52 yards vs. Utah State...had a 70-yard TD catch at Rice and was chosen coaches' receiver of the game...had two TD catches vs. TCU.

1998 | Senior Year

Was ninth in the WAC in punt return yardage, averaging 9.4 yards per return...named coaches' special teams player of the week vs. San Diego State and Murray State, and receiver of the week vs. Murray State...had 3 catches for 50 yards at Washington, including a season-high 35-yard reception...returned four punts for 96 yards against Murray State, including a season-high 37-yard return...had 64 yards on 6 returns against UNLV...caught three passes for 28 yards and returned five punts for 62 more against New Mexico.
