Parents are Daniel and Jean...brothers Steve and Dan are both collegiate athletes...P.E. major.

Before BYU

Bob was credited with All-CIF honors as an athlete at Glendale High, where he was coached by John Brannan...was all-league as offensive and defensive back...MVP on team...captained grid team...ran a 9.8 100 in track.

1976 | Freshman Year

JV starter...went to Tangerine Bowl.

1977 | Sophomore Year

Started all of season and scored 131 defensive points...led team with five pass interceptions...five unassisted tackles at Oregon State...had a pass interception, two pass deflections, a fumble recovery, a tackle for a loss and five tackles against Arizona.

1978 | Redshirt Year

Redshirted after knee injury against Arizona State.

1979 | Junior Year

Named defensive back of the week against New Mexico...against UNM he had two pass interceptions and made five tackles against Wyoming...had 10 tackles against Long Beach State and made 11 tackles against Indiana.
