High School - Attended Emery County High, where he lettered three times in football and once eahc in track, wrestling and baseball...second team all-state in '81 and first team in '82...region heavyweight wrestling champion...team captain and outstanding defensive player...coached by Dean Nelson (BYU) and Greg Cool (Weber State).
