Attended Temple High...earned letters in football, basketball and baseball...football team won state championship in 1992 and was a state semifinalist in 1993...selected all-state, all-district, All-Central Texas in football...listed as a Blue Chip prospect in Texas football's Elite 50...coached by Bob McQueen (Tulsa).

Pressured the UNLV punter and forced him into a 14-yard loss in the fourth quarter...recovered a fumble against UTEP.
