1995 | Freshman Year

Ascended to the starting defensive end spot in the spring...backup deep-snapper...coaches' lineman of game vs. SDSU for eight tackles, one tackle for a loss and 1.5 sacks...high ankle sprain at ASU...played first series only vs. Wyoming...did not play vs. Hawai`i...had a fumble recovery vs. Tulsa.

1996 | Sophomore Year

Called critical slant read to set up Omarr Morgan's fourth quarter interception in the Cotton Bowl against Kansas St., ... had five tackles and two tackles for losses vs. New Mexico...coaches' lineman of the game vs. UNM and TCU...had two sacks vs. SMU...had a pass deflection tip vs. USU.

1997 | Junior Year

Started most of the games...selected by the coaches as the winner of the John Farley Award...had four tackles, three pass deflections and a quarterback hurry to be selected as coaches' defensive lineman of the game against Utah St.,...had five tackles, including two for losses against Hawai`i...had seven tackles and two QB hurries at UTEP.

1998 | Senior Year

Started 11 games for the Cougars at defensive end...participated in the 1999 Hula Bowl All-Star Game...named BYU's outstanding defensive lineman by the coaches for games Murray State, San Jose State and Utah...had his best game of the season vs. Murray State, including five tackles, a sack and a QB hurry.
