  • Son of current BYU offensive coordinator and current assistant head coach Robert Anae
  • Served in the Texas McAllen Mission for the LDS Church
  • Recruited by UNLV, Colorado, Texas Tech and Hawaii

Before BYU

  • Helped lead Timpview HS to the 2006 4A State Championship title
  • Blocked for an offense that produced 26.5 points per game
  • Part of an offensive line that helped produce a 1,700-yard rusher and a 1,400-yard passer
  • High school teammate of BYU signees Houston Reynolds and cousin Eathyn Manumaleuna

2010 | Redshirt Year

  • Suffered an ACL injury during spring camp.

2011 | Freshman Year

  • Earned letterman honors
  • Played in four games as a backup

2012 | Sophomore Year

  • Earned letterman honors
  • Started vs.. Hawai'i and played in four games
  • In first and only career start helped BYU rush for a season-best 396 yards in a 47-0 victory over the Hawai'i Warriors
  • Due to continual injury problems ended football career following Hawai'i game
