Parents are Duff and Katherine...recruited by WAC schools and Utah State...married Melinda Peay in April, 1991...majoring in sports medicine.

Before BYU

Led Dobson High to 1987 state championship...lettered four times in soccer and three times in track...was an all-league goalie and an all-state running back...second in state 110-meter hurdles and fourth in pole vaulting...coached by Mike Clark.

1988 | Freshman Year

Played in junior varsity games and traveled with the varsity...had two tackles, caused a fumble and intercepted a pass.

1989 | Sophomore Year

Was a second unit player on the varsity...intercepted a pass against CSU.

1990 | Junior Year

Had a 19-yard interception at UTEP...10 tackles and a pass deflection against Miami...nine tackles against San Diego State...six tackles, a pass interception and a sack at Oregon..had a 27-yard interception at Utah plus seven unassisted tackles and a fumble recovery...returned an interception 31 yards for a TD against Utah State...selected as coaches defensive back of the game against Oregon and Wyoming.

1991 | Senior Year

Had off-season knee surgery.
