Played for Wayne Riner at Connell High School ... won his team's Defensive Back Award in 2002 ... honorable mention all-league selection ... intercepted three passes in the 2002 state championship game which his team went on to win ... recorded seven interceptions his senior year ... also lettered in basketball ... valedictorian of his senior class with a 4.0 GPA.
