High School - All-League as end and safetly at Righetti High ... was sprinter in track, forward on basketball team ... he was outfilder who hit .382 ... was voted MVP twice.

 

 

1976 | Sophomore Year

Lettered ... had 21 assisted tackles, 26 unassisted ... sstarter for varsity ... against Arizona he tackled the runner for a 7-yard loss ... picked up pass interceptions against Utah State and new Mexico.

1977 | Junior Year

 

in '77 he lost hisstarting position because of a knee injury ... bounced back for 67 defensiv points as a backup ... intercepted a leteral pass for a 92-yard TD against UTEP ... is in a four way battle for starting slot.
