Born 7/20/73 in Kahuku, Hawai'i...parents are Fatu and Logotaeao Atuaia...enjoys Polynesian food and rap an Eagle Scout...brothers, Alema and Donny, also play football at BYU...recruited by Arizona, Hawai'i, Washington and Colorado...served an LDS Church mission to Tucson, Arizona...married Elizabeth Wolfgramm, a member of the Jets singing group, 1995...majoring in travel and tourism.

1991 | Freshman Year

Third-leading rusher on the team...started against Penn State, Air Force and New Mexico...played second-unit behind Peter Tuipulotu...rushed for a net of 101 yards, a nine-yard TD and had seven catches for 60 yards against New Mexico...had a four-yard TD reception at San Diego State in BYU's comeback 52-52 tie...rushed for 94 net yards, including a TD against Utah State.

1994 | Sophomore Year

Caught four passes for 59 yards at UTEP, including a season-long 38-yard catch...had five catches for 28 yards at Utah.

1995 | Junior Year

Sat out UCLA game because of knee injury at AFA...51-yard TD run at Arizona State...scored two TD's at New Mexico.

1996 | Senior Year

Started 13 games...scored on rushing TD and one receiving TD vs. Arkansas State...against New Mexico he had a quick end around when he broke two tackles and lost his helmet on a 35-yard run...caught four passes 105 yards, including a 61-yarder vs. TCU he had a 42-yard weave, breaking three tackles as he ran for a TD...scored a TD off a lateral at Hawai'i.
