Before BYU

Graduated from James Campbell High...earned nine letters...four in football, three in basketball and two in baseball...named First-Team West All-Stars in football and Second-Team West All-Stars in basketball...played QB and linebacker...was team MVP...coached by Duane Izumi.

Other College

San Bernadino Valley College: Named Foothill Defensive MVP...All-America first team...second team tight end...team MVP.

1993 | Redshirt Year

Had shoulder surgery and redshirted.

1994 | Junior Year

Started every game at right tackle...against Colorado State had two tackles for losses, a sack and a pair of assisted tackles...had two unassisted tackles and a tackle for a loss at Notre Dame.
