A starter as both offensive and defensive tackle at Granite...voted the most-improved player on the team...coached by Darold Simmons (Utah)...put the shot in track.

1976 | Freshman Year

Played jayvee ball.

1977 | Redshirt Year

Redshirted and converted from defense to offense.

1978 | Sophomore Year

Traveled with the varsity.

1979 | Junior Year

Played in spring game at tackle, but was a guard previously...underwent an appendectomy just prior to the opening of the season and lost starting role...backed up All-WAC Tom Bell.
