Transferred to BYU from Grossmont Community College where he was All-South Coast Conference...is pursuing paralegal studies at BYU.

Before BYU

Athlete of the year in 1976 at Monte Vista High...in football he was coached by Larry Schimpf (San Diego State)...he was All-Grossmont League, All-CIF and team MVP...in wrestling he was all-league and All-CIF for two years...was wrestler of the year for his school...in baseball, he was all-league.

1979 | Junior Year

A walk-on to BYU's program, he was injured for part of the junior varsity season...had a 94-yard kickoff return for a TD versus the UNLV junior varsity along with a 33-yard kickoff return.
