Saw some varsity action, but mostly played with the jayvee ... caught at 10-yard pass against Hawai`i, but had the misfortune of playing behind four other highly-regarded rwide receivers.
1980 | Sophomore Year
Caught a 10-yard pass against Colorado State.
1981 | Junior Year
Best performance was five receptions for 123 yards and a 63-yard TD play against Wyoming ... also caught six passes for 85 yards vs. Colorado State; had three receptions for 54 yards vs. UNLV; had three catches for 20 yards at Hawai`i; and scored on a 26-yard pass play vs. New Mexico ... was coaches' player of the game at Wyoming.
1982 | Senior Year
Caught a 21-yard pass from Steve Young against Georgia in the second half to put BYU up 13-7 ... had one pass attempt against Hawai`i for an interception in the endzone ... had five catches for 103 yards at New Mexico ... had five catches for 91 yards at UTEP.
