Parents are Lauren and Patricia...father played for Utah State...came to BYU on partial academic scholarship...Scott is in pre-dentistry at BYU.

Before BYU

A valedictorian at Amos Alonzo Stagg High...was team captain...coached by Chuck Swimmly.

1979 | Freshman Year

Walked on and played with the jayvee.

1980 | Sophomore Year

Saw backup action for the outing was vs. UTEP when he rusehd for 67 yards and scored two TDs.

1981 | Junior Year

Was the starting tailback for the varsity...among his best outings was rushing for 100 net yards vs. UNLV...cuaght six passes for 96 yards and two TDs vs. Colorado State...caught eight passes for 73 yards and on TD vs. Washington State in the Holiday Bowl...selected by the coaches as the most valuable running back...selected six times by the coaches as player of the game last year...finished sixth in the WAC in all-purpose rushing (82.4) and receiving (4.0).
