Parents are Richard and Penny...served an LDS mission to Korea...graduated in the spring cum laude with a double major in Korean and international relations...did a summer internship in Washington D.C. for Nevada Senator Harry Reid (D)...is studying for a third major in political science...member of Gold Key.

Before BYU

High School - Won seven varsity letters at Skyline High, two in football, three in wrestling, one in track and one in soccer...took second and third in state wrestling championships and was first team all-state linebacker...on the school's honor roll...coached by Gil Cordova (Westminster).

1982 | Freshman Year

Played with the junior varsity.

1985 | Redshirt Year


1986 | Sophomore Year

Saw action on special teams...first team academic All-WAC.

1987 | Junior Year

Switched from linebacker to defensive tackle in spring...alternated with Craig Patterson...was first team All-WAC academic again as well as all-district.
