Goodrich Tiremen, and was later selected to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but elected not to play ... served a Chuch mission in Concepcion, Chile ... redshirted the 2001 season at Utah State ... earned the Joe E. Whiteside Scholar Athlete Award at Utah State ... recruited by Southern Utah and Utah State.

A three-year letterwinner at Loveland HS ... also lettered in basketball and track ... helped lead Loveland HS to the 4-A State Championship as a senior ... earned all-area and all-athletic team honors.
