Lettered four years in cross country and two years in track and soccer at Brighton HS ... team captain his senior year ... two-time selection to the all-state team ... placed fourth at the state meet his junior year and fifth his senior year ... ran in the 1600m at the Aracadia Invitational meet with a time of 4:21 ... during his senior year he earned Most Improved Athlete Award on the soccer team.
