Lettered all four years in track and cross country at Evanston HS ... set a school record in the 3,200m ... was a three-time region champion in cross country ... also won the region championship in the 3,200m ... was the 1997 and 1998 state 4A cross country champion, also finished third in 1996 and second in 1999 ... named Foot Locker All-American after finishing 13th at the Foot Locker Nationals in 1998.
