lettered four years in cross country and track at Orem HS...selected team MVP and Runner of the Year for the 1996-97 season...named All-Region three years in cross country and twice in track...was an All-State selection in cross country three years...earned Academic All-America honors at Utah Valley State College in 1999 and 2000...was cross country MVP her freshman and sophomore years...named UVSC Female Athlete of the Year for the 1999-2000 season...earned All-Region honors in cross country after leading her team to 2nd place regional finishes in both 1998 and 1999...was an All-Region selection in track in 1999 and 2000...won the region championship in the 10,000m...named NJCAA All-American in cross country for finishing 4th in the nation in both her freshman and sophomore seasons...led UVSC to a 2nd-place team finish at nationals in 1998 and a 3rd-place finish in 1999..named All-American in track for the 2000 season after winning the 10,000m.
