Before BYU

  • Elite gymnast who spent four years on the Canadian National Team
  • 1990 Western Canada Summer Games All-Around Champion
  • Placed second in the all-around at the 1991 Canada Winter Games
  • Won the 1991 Golden State Club Challenge all-around title
  • Placed 11th at the 1992 Canadian Nationals and Olympic trials
  • Honor student at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute

1993 | Freshman Year

  • Earned BYU's only all-around 39 of the season (39.05) at the WAC Championships to finish third and earn All-WAC honors
  • Scored a season-high 9.85 on bars, beam and floor

  • Recorded scores of over 9.7 in three or four events before a knee injury ended her season after five meets
