Before BYU

  • Finished in seventh place in all-around and fourth place on floor at senior nationals in 1977
  • Class I Utah junior state champion in 1976 and 1977
  • Finished 10th in all-around at regionals in 1977

1981 | Freshman Year

  • Most consistent member of the BYU team
  • Traveled with BYU coaches Debbie and Rod Hill to Europe in 1980, where she gained international experience

1982 | Sophomore Year

  • At the 1982 AIAW Region VII championships, won first on beam with a score of 9.1 and tied for first on the floor with a 9.2
  • Named to all-region team
  • Competed at AIAW regionals in the spring

1983 | Junior Year

  • At the NCAA Mountain Regionals, finished seventh on floor exercise with a score of 9.2
  • Set school record in floor performance with a score of 9.4
