Before BYU

  • Trained at Wings Gymnastics in Boise, Idaho
  • Competed in track and field in high school
  • Tied the state record in the 100 meter hurdles as a senior at Borah HS
  • Two-time state 100 meter hurdle champion
  • State high jump champion as a sophomore and placed in the long jump and pole vault
  • Seven-time All-American in high jump, heptathlon, pentathlon and pole vault
