Before BYU

Three-time MVP at Woods Cross High School...also named to All-Region team three times...three-time All-State honoree...selected as prep of the week by Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune...batted .536 as a senior with a .970 fielding percentage...helped club team to state championship in 1997.



At UVSC: (1998-99): UVSC team finished second in the SWAC...was named team's Best Defensive Player of 1998. Utah Valley State College team finished first in the SWAC...was awarded team's Respect for the Game Award...season batting average was one of league's ten highest...led team to a third-place national ranking and ninth-place defensive ranking.
