Parents are Robert and Karen ... has one brother ... graduated high school with honors ... member of the National Honor Society, K.E.Y. Club and the Junior Humane Society in high school ... lettered in cross country her senior year ... majoring in nursing.

Before BYU

Most Valuable Swimmer in 2003 ... awarded all-state honor all four years of high school ... in 2006 she was awarded the Yellow Jacket Award ... took the 5A state 200 IM title her senior year ... awarded the Senior Commitment Award by her club team ... state high point winner in the senior division freshman year (2005) ... placed fifth in the 200 breast in 2002 at the Southern Zones Conference ... still holds the state record in the 200 breast for the 11-12 age group (2:36.53) ... top times: 100 breast (1:10.07), 200 breast (2:27.00), 200 IM (2:14.28) and 400 IM (4:46.21).

Competed in seven of nine dual meets on the season for the Cougars ... ranked fourth in the 200 breast on the team with a time of 2:26.45, achieved at the Nike Cup ... ranked fifth on the team in the 200 IM with a time of 2:11.47.
