Parents are Jerry and Heidi Crist ... siblings are Rebecca, Teddy and Alex ... mom swam for BYU ... major is English with a minor in music ... ran track as a junior in high school ... also recruited by the University of North Texas, Air Force, Utah, UNLV and Rice.

Before BYU

Named the District Swimmer of the Year ... won her team's MVP honors as a junior and senior at Angleton High School ... took first place in the 50 free in her region as a sophomore, junior and senior ... honored as the Regional Swimmer of the Year her as a sophomore ... placed as high as fifth in both the 50 and 100 free on the state level.

2007-2008 | Freshman Year

Competed in every Mountain West Conference dual meet during the 2007-08 season ... recorded a season-best time in the 50 free against Utah with a time of 25.13, the fifth-best time by a Cougar on the season ... season-best times in the 100 and 200 free at the Nike Cup with times of 55.06 and 2:00.10, respectively ... swam her fastest time of the year in the 100 back at the Phil Hansel Duels with a time of 1:03.85.

2008-2009 | Sophomore Year

Competed in all nine dual meets for the Cougars ... ranked fifth on the team in the 50 free (24.07) ... ranked seventh on the team in the 100 free with a time of 52.41 achieved at the Utah State Senior Championships ... tallied her best time of the year in the 200 free at the Nike Cup with a time of 1:57.94.

2009-2010 | Junior Year

Competed in ten meets on the season for the Cougars ... tallied one first-place finish in the 100 free against Air Force ... ranked sixth in the 50 free (24.02), fifth in the 100 free (51.85) and eighth in the 200 free (1:55.46) for the Cougars ... ranked fourth in the 100 back on the team with a time of 59.47, earned at the Utah State Senior Championships ... received the MWC Academic All-Conference award.

2010-2011 | Senior Year


Competed in all ten dual meets for the Cougars…tallied four first-place finishes throughout the season…ranked 30th in the conference for the 50 free as well as 40th in the 100 free…ranked fourth for the Cougars in the 50 for her time of 23.84, earned at the Utah State Senior Championships.
