Before BYU

  • Played with the Australian Capital Territory State Team 1988-1995
  • Won the World Youth Cup teams event- New Zealand 1993
  • Won Australian Nationals in 1993
  • Won the team event at the Wilson Cup in 1994
  • Runner-up at Wimbledon junior in doubles 1995


  • Coach Barton Comments: Jodi has the kind of personality every coach loves to have on a team. She possesses a friendly aura that is infectious, everyone who meets Jodi loves her. Her tennis game has continued to round back into the form that took her to the Jr Wimbledon doubles final a few years ago. Since having wrist surgery her all court game will be a real strength to this year's team.

1997-1998 | Freshman Year

  • In her first season with BYU, compiled a 13-6 singles record playing at the number five and six positions
  • Teamed up with Holly Parkinson at the number two spot with a 10-2 record, playing one doubles match in the number one position

1998-1999 | Sophomore Year

  • Finished with a 10-13 singles record playing every position from number one to number six
  • Also played every position from number one to number three with four different partners in doubles finishing with an 11-11 record
  • Suffered an injury last summer

1999-2000 | Junior Year

  • Compiled a 5-6 singles record, going 4-4 in duals at the number two spot
  • Teamed with Eline Chiew to go 1-0 at the number one spot in doubles
  • Teamed with Kim Kelly to go 3-3 in doubles at the number one spot
