  • Ranked 15th in southern California sectionals
  • Won the CIF doubles championship in 1978
  • Voted MVP at La Jolla High where she played No. 1 singles for two years
  • Received the Weckerly Sportsmanship Award for Girls and the Dave Gallup Union Tribune Scholarship in 1979
  • Was a finalist in the 21-and-under division of the Fiesta Bowl Tournament in 1979
  • In summer of 1982, instructor for the BYU tennis camps and for the Provo City Recreation Department and coached a girls junior league team
