  • Lettered four years in both cross country and track
  • High school's Athletic MVP for track and cross country 2000-03
  • Regional champion in cross country twice
  • 2003 regional champion in the 3200m
  • 5A Cross Country State Champion and MVP in 2000
  • 4A Cross Country State Champion and MVP twice
  • 4A State Track Champion in the 1600m and 3200m
  • Ranked third nationally in the 3200m and second in the 1500m
  • Third-team All-American at the Footlocker Nationals in 2002, finished thirteenth
  • Placed third in 2001 and second in 2002 at Great American Cross Country Festival
  • Inducted into the Utah High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame
  • Won the 3000m and took second in the 1500m at the Mt. SAC Relays in 2003
