  • Has two brothers
  • Enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking walks and traveling 

Before BYU

  • Prepped at Curtis High School
  • Member of the club team Flying AJ's from 2007-11
  • Earned three varsity letters in track and field
  • Placed fourth at the Washington state championship in the triple jump in 2010
  • Took 14th at Junior Olympic Nationals in the triple jump in 2010
  • Member of the National Honor Society 


PERSONAL BESTS: Long Jump- 4.80m; Triple Jump- 10.39m

2012 | Freshman Year


  • Started the season with a long jump of 4.75m at the Blue and Orange Opener 
  • Competed in the triple jump at the Cherry and Silver Invitational and finished 23rd with a leap of 10.29m 
  • Finished the season with personal bests in the long jump (4.80m) and triple jump (10.39m) at the Mountain States Games


  • Redshirted during the outdoor season

  • During the Wildcat Invitational, placed seventh in the long jump with a mark of 4.89m
