• Prepped at Higley High School
• Competed at the University of Memphis in 2009-10 and Mesa CC in 2010-11
• Holds Higley High school records in the pole vault, long jump, triple jump, 4x100m relay and sprint medley relay
• Holds high school Region record in the pole vault 
• 2009 Arizona state champion in the pole vault
• Placed third at the Conference USA Championships in the indoor pole vault in 2010
• Member of National Honor Society at Higley
• Named English Department Student of the Year at Higley in 2009
• Named to the Dean's List at Memphis in  2010
