2002 | Freshman Year

Fourth in the 5000m at the Snake River Open with a time of 18:13.92...won the 3000m open title at the Mountain State Games...ran a season-best 3000m time of 10:07.01 at the Husker Invitational...finished second in the 3000m at the USC Dual with a time of 10:35.12...finished ninth in the top section of the 3000m steeplechase at the Stanford Invitational in a season-best 10:41.48.

2003 | Sophomore Year

Finished third in the mile at the Boise State Invitational...placed second in the 3000m (10:05.38) at the Olympic Oval Invitational...took seventh in the 3000m at Boise State...ran the 5000m in 16:39.61 to finish fifth at the Nebraska Husker Invitational...finished fourth in both the 3000m (10:19.82) and 5000m (18:08.96) at the MWC Indoor Championships...placed second in the 3000m steeplechase at the BYU Invitational...won the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:43.64 at the MWC Outdoor Championships...finished fifth at the NCAA West Regional in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:18.78...ran the 3000m steeplechase in a personal best time of 10:14.37 to finish 12th at Nationals.
