Before BYU

  • High school valedictorian, Key Club, Madrigals
  • Two-time state champ in the 300m hurdles, once in the 400m hurdles
  • 4A state 300m hurdles record
  • Ran varsity track four years and played varsity soccer two years
  • First at 1996 Great Southwest Classic in the 300m hurdles
  • 1995 UHSTF Female Athlete of the Year
  • 1995 and '97 UHSTF female Performance of the Year


  • 1998: recorded BYU bests in the 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles
  • 1999: competed in the 100 and 400 hurdles, running a personal-best 1:01.36 in the 400mH at the Robison Invitational
  • 2001: Ran a personal record time of 1:00.45 on May 5 at the Robison Invitational
