Before BYU

Club:

• Played for Club Utah under head coach Scott Lee
• Her Club Utah Elite 17 Black Team won two national qualifiers in 2006

High School:

• Four-year letterwinner at Lone Peak High School under head coach Deanna Meyer
• Received 5A All-State recognition as a sophomore, junior and senior, including second-team honors in 2005 and first-team recognition as a senior in 2006
• Named All-Region 4 three times, earning MVP honors as a senior
• Also named the Deseret News All-Valley MVP and to the Deseret News State All-Tournament Team in 2006
• Helped her team win the state title in 2003 and 2004 and earn second-place finishes in 2005 and 2006
• Lettered in track as a high jumper
• Active member of the school sportsmanship council
