Watermelon Bust set for Saturday, August 18

The "Watermelon Bust" sponsored by the Cougar Club will be held Saturday, August 18 from 9:30 to 2:00 at Lavell Edwards Stadium. This event is free, and all BYU football fans are invited to come and meet the football team.

While historically this event has been exclusively for Cougar Club members, this is the second year it will be open to the entire community. Club members will be welcomed and asked to enter their names for a drawing for prizes.

Football tickets and BYU merchandise will be on sale during the event. Hogi Yogi will be selling food and all the proceeds will benefit the BYU Athletic Department.

Fan activities will include a Dunk Tank, Extreme Sports blow-ups, tours of Cosmo's van, and free watermelon. There will also be time set aside for fans to get autographs from the individual players and coaches.
