The third-oldest child in his family, Trey was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in January of this year. He was admitted to Primary Children’s Medical Center where he underwent surgeries for port placement in his chests, spinal taps, rounds of chemotherapy and blood transfusions.

Brigham was born with down syndrome and with a hole in his heart, keeping him in the hospital for the first three months of his life. Despite a difficult beginning, Brigham has fought his entire life to never let anything stand between him and his dreams.

Born in Emmett, Idaho, Mark has always been a very independent, strong-willed individual, evident as he learned to walk by 7-1/2 months. When he was five he began having seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy.
