BYU men's basketball had four players score in double figures in the 84-59 win over Pacific.
Kyle Collinsworth sparked BYU early in the second half, scoring the first four points for the team in the first minute of action. A putback bucket by Collinsworth made it 40-36 with 17:53 remaining in the game.
After two scoreless minutes for the Cougars, a corner three from Chase Fischer extended their lead to 43-38. Pacific went on a 6-0 run to storm back and take the 50-49 lead with a 3-pointer, but BYU answered back with a 14-0 run, which included six points from Skyler Halford. A trey from Fischer with 8:30 left capped off the run and gave the Cougars the 63-50 advantage.
Corbin Kaufusi scored two buckets in a row to make it 70-57, holding the Tigers at bay with 5:04 left. Collinsworth dished it to Kaufusi for the dunk with 1:47 remaining to give BYU the 79-59 lead. A 3-pointer from Josh Sharp would make the final score 84-59.
Tyler Haws led all scorers with 20 points. Collinsworth was one assist away from a triple-double with 12 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists. Halford had 18 points and dished out four assists. Fischer had 16 points, including four treys.
