Stadiums excited to play at: Nebraska, for sure. I’m also excited for Michigan, because it’s going to be a family reunion for me. My dad’s parents are from there, so it will be fun to play in front of them and 110,000 other people.
One thing people don’t know about you: I had a liver transplant when I was 10 months old. I’m also colorblind.
Name: My middle name is Robert, and it’s my mother’s dad’s name. It’s special to me because he was a pastor and he really helped me grow in my faith.

Three things I did in the offseason: I like playing other sports, especially indoor soccer. I’m on a team for my church. I also like to hang out with my friends and hiking.
Who do you look up to: I look up to my mom and dad. Ever since I had my transplant, they pushed me to do sports and get out there. They never kept me in a bubble because they were afraid.
Nicknames: I probably have the most solid nickname on the team: Shaky. Also, some of my teammates call me Nate-Weight.
Pre-game ritual: I have less and less of a pre-game ritual as I play more, but I always have to listen to a certain song every game. It changes all the time, and I have to listen to it to before I play.
Favorite football memory: When Coach Mendenhall told me I got a scholarship after being recruited to BYU, I had to go after practice into a room and cry. I don’t cry very often, but I was so thankful.
