Former Cougar Trent Whiting has enjoyed a successful career in Italy since playing his senior season at BYU. He averaged 14.2 points and 2.3 assists while shooting .390 from three and .819 from the free throw line for the Cougars.
Since 2005 Whiting has played in the Legadue, the second-highest league in Italy. In four seasons he has averaged 19.8 points and owns a shooting percentage of .472. In 128 games in the last five seasons he has scored 2,535 points.
