We will be announcing the Dunk Contest judges for Boom Shakalaka: The BYU Basketball Showcase, over the next several days. Our first judge is former Cougar Mike Hall.

Mike Hall played for the Cougars from 2003 to 2005 after transferring from Dixie State and averaged 13.3 points in his two season at BYU. He was the 2004 Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Year and helped lead the Cougars to the 2004 NCAA Tournament.

Known for his thunderous dunks, Hall's most memorable throw down was a dunk against Air Force that was the ESPN Play of the Day. Hall played professionally for several years overseas in Turkey, France, Austria and Japan and was the director of basketball operations for the BYU men's basketball team from 2010 to 2013.
