In the final KSL 5 TV coach's show, head coach Dave Rose gave a full recap of last week's West Coast Conference tournament loss to San Diego.

"I felt bad for our guys - we had a great practice and I thought we were ready for the game. It's unfortunate because I know how much these guys put into it."

Against the Toreros, coach Rose highlighted Brandon Davies' performance. Davies finished with a near triple-double on 20 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.

Later in the show, coach Rose broke down the Top 5 plays from this last season.

The Cougars finished the season 21-11 for their eighth-straight 20-win season with all of those eight seasons coming under coach Rose. In talking about what's next for his team, Rose said they're looking forward to more basketball.

"We're hoping for an NIT bid - I haven't done a lot of research into it but I know that a lot of last year's teams have a similar situation to us this year.. We'll keep our guys sharp and hopefully get a bid to keep going."

To finish up the show, coach Rose talked about some highlights for next season including the return of Kyle Collinsworth and incoming players from state champion Lone Peak High School.
