On his weekly KSL radio coach's show, head coach Dave Rose started the program talking about being 2-0 to start WCC play and BYU's upcoming opponents this week in Pepperdine and Santa Clara.

Rose continued to preview the WCC, how the other teams are shaping up and how tough this conference competition is.

"There's a lot of ball to be played still but everyone's very competitive. Teams play well at home and we'll have to work for a win every game."

Matt Carlino and BYU's other point guards were highlighted as a large part of BYU's winning strategy. Rose said this week's practice the team worked hard through its point guards and they're excited for the rest of the year.

"It really goes to show the character of our players - that we can be looking for a good rotation and still finding a win. These guys are really here to win."

BYU sophomore Tyler Haws joined the show to talk about his experience of coming to BYU and answer questions from fans.

Rose finished the show also answering questions from fans.
